Join the GRIND Team Now!

Funded by the City of Darwin, GRIND is youth project team that publishes GRINDonline and hosts and organises forums, concerts and events. GRIND aims to promote a positive image of youth, and celebrates young people’s achievements and the diversity of the youth community. Over the years we have organised the BIG GIG (featuring interstate bands) and held workshops with Kaz Cooke, Wil Anderson, Academy Award winner Adam Elliot and John Butler.

We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month (except in December and January) from 4:30pm to 6pm at City of  Darwin Civic Centre, Harry Chan Avenue, Darwin City Рall young people in Darwin are welcome.

DCC YAG logoCity of Darwin Youth Projects invites young people aged between 12 and 20 years to apply to be part of Council's Youth Advisory Group (YAG). YAG meets monthly to discuss and inform Council on issues affecting young people, as well as organising and hosting projects.
